Blue Steel Machinery Company was established in 2000, with a clear and unwavering mission: to elevate Taiwan’s woodworking machinery industry and restore its presence on the global stage.
Our roots trace back to the golden era of Taiwan’s woodworking machinery development. During the rapid growth of the furniture manufacturing industry, the previous generation of our family helped build a complete ecosystem of satellite factories. This integrated supply chain supported Taiwan’s industrial expansion and enabled large-scale exports to North America and Southeast Asia, marking a defining period in Taiwan’s manufacturing history.
In 1997, after returning from the United States, I witnessed firsthand the structural transformation of the global manufacturing landscape. With rising international competition and the shift of production to lower-cost regions, Taiwan’s traditional OEM-based model was under significant pressure. At that pivotal moment, I became convinced that Taiwan could not rely solely on manufacturing capacity—it needed its own brands, proprietary technology, and long-term innovation capability.
Guided by this belief, we founded the HIGH POINT brand, focusing on the research and development of precision-engineered horizontal band saw machines. From the outset, our commitment has been to improve product performance, durability, and consistency through continuous innovation and engineering refinement. Over the years, this dedication has earned strong recognition in global markets, with our products now exported to more than sixty countries and widely regarded as a leading brand in the woodworking machinery sector.

- 0.5 mm Ultra-Thin Slicing Capability: This is the most compelling highlight of the machine! The ability to saw slices as thin as 0.5 mm demonstrates the exceptional structural rigidity, blade stability, and vibration-damping performance of the equipment. This drastically increases wood yield for customers, minimizing material waste and saving high-value lumber.
- Servo Elevation System (2 kW Servo Motor / 1:5 Gear Reducer): Replacing conventional motors with a precision servo motor to control sawing thickness (with a blade-to-conveyor distance of 2–170 mm) guarantees impeccable positioning every single time, keeping dimensional tolerances for repetitive processing to an absolute minimum.
- 30 HP Main Motor + 30 HP Inverter: Equipped with a high-horsepower main motor, this machine handles both dense hardwoods and large-section timber (maximum processing width up to 400 mm) with effortless ease. The integrated inverter allows operators to adjust the linear blade speed according to different wood types, which protects the blade while achieving an optimal surface finish.
- High-Speed Feeding (Up to 25 m/min): Paired with a 2 HP variable-frequency feed system, this machine unleashes maximum productivity. Seamlessly switching between slow, high-precision sawing and high-speed rough cutting allows it to adapt perfectly to any production rhythm.
- PLC and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) Control: The control system is intuitive and straightforward. Operators require no complex training; by simply entering the desired dimensions on the touchscreen, the machine automatically adjusts into position. This effectively eliminates human measurement and setup errors while significantly accelerating changeover times.
- Automatic Compensation Hydraulic Unit (40 kgf/cm2): As the saw blade heats up and expands slightly during high-speed operation, this system automatically maintains optimal blade tension. This prevents blade wandering (snaking) and breakage, greatly extending blade lifespan while ensuring a perfectly flat cut.
- Heavy-Duty Sensory Pressure Rollers (2 Sets, Pneumatically Actuated): These rollers ensure that the timber is firmly clamped as it enters the cutting zone, eliminating any bounce caused by uneven wood surfaces or feeding impacts. This is the critical backbone behind the 0.5 mm ultra-thin slicing capability.
- Automatic Spray Gun Cooling System: Delivers timed and measured cooling and lubrication to the saw blade, reducing sawdust adhesion and maintaining blade sharpness.
- Heavyweight 2,000 kg Machine Base: The massive 2-ton heavy-duty chassis delivers outstanding vibration absorption, remaining rock-solid even during high-speed operations.
